Please join us at First Friday drinks on Friday December 4th at the Tate Britian, the national gallery of British art from 1500 to the present day.
Tate Britain will be having their "Late at Tate Britain", an event where the gallery opens its doors after-hours on the first Friday of the month. It is open to the public and will offer a vibrant mix of music, workshops, talks, special guests and DJs, live performance and debate, all taking inspiration from artwork in the Tate Collection.
The theme of this "Late at the Tate" evening is "Celebrity", exploring how art displayed status through time from historic royalty to YouTube fame.
We will meet at 18:45pm in the foyer of the Millbank entrance and head for casual drinks and mingling within the gallery, and afterwards explore the various events offered to us by the Tate.
