Claus Born is a senior vice president and institutional product specialist for Franklin Templeton Emerging Markets Equity, based in the Buenos Aires office. An integrated member of the investment team, Claus has responsibility for engaging with clients globally across distribution channels to provide solutions and improved outcomes by sharing the team's insights. Through leveraging their combined knowledge, he represents the CIO and portfolio managers in articulating all facets of the team's various investment strategies, whether meeting institutional clients and financial advisors or presenting at conferences. In addition, he has research responsibilities for Latin American companies and European companies with high exposure to emerging markets economies. Claus has more than 20 years of experience within emerging markets equity markets. Until 2014, he was a member of the portfolio management teams of our Latin America and Frontier Markets strategies and an investment analyst with research responsibilities for Latin American companies. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in 2000, Claus was a business analyst at Mannesmann Eurokom, a German telecommunications holding company. Previously, he was a bank business management assistant at Deutsche Bank. Claus holds a degree in business administration from the University of Bayreuth (Germany), specializing in finance, accounting and taxation. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. He speaks German, English, Spanish and French.

Eoin is Head of Investment and a member of the Executive Committee. Eoin also leads the Investment Office, which is responsible to clients for the investment teams’ consistent delivery of responsible, risk-adjusted performance and adherence to the processes which earned them their ‘kitemarks’. He is also the Executive sponsor for Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
Eoin joined the international business of Federated Hermes in January 2015 with almost 30 years’ investment experience. Eoin joined from GSA Capital Partners, where he was a fund manager. Before this, he was Chief Investment Officer at Old Mutual from 2004 to 2008 and also held senior positions at Callanish Capital Partners LLP and Northern Trust Global Investments. He began his career as a graduate trainee at Manufacturers Hanover Trust (now JPMorgan Chase) and subsequently performed senior portfolio manager roles at Wells Fargo Nikko Investment Advisors (now BlackRock), PanAgora Asset Management and First Quadrant. Eoin earned an MA (Hons) in Economics and Law from the University of Edinburgh and an MBA from Warwick Business School. Additionally he has a Certificate in Energy Innovation and Emerging Technologies from Stanford University and a Diploma in Specialist Rescue from Coventry University.
Eoin is a Freeman of the City of London, a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths, Master of the Guild of Investment Managers, and a Fellow of the RSA. He is a member of the Exmoor Search and Rescue team, a Swift-water Rescue Instructor, a Powerboat Rescue Operator and a Flood Water Incident Manager.

Gaby has over 25 years’ experience in finance and in energy. She co-founded and leads iClima Earth, an impact green FinTech, which has an equity benchmark, the Clima Global Decarbonisation Enablers Index and is an ETF sponsor of a UCITS ETF tracking its own benchmark.
Gaby started her career in equity research, covering the Latin American electric utility sector at Lehman Brothers. After business school she moved into the buy side, where she worked at greenfield project finance and M&A at energy developer AES Corporation and as an Executive Director at GE Capital’s Energy Financial Services team in London. When structuring private equity infrastructure investments her primary focus was on renewable energy assets across Europe, having invested into solar and onshore wind, and screened several opportunities also in offshore wind. Gaby combines solid fundamental analysis skills with energy industry knowledge. Moreover, she has been involved with sustainable development since 1992 when she attended the UNFCCC Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Gaby earned her MBA from Wharton in 2002.
