His Journey

As Associate Director at Cap Dirigeant (https://capdirigeant.fr) & Managing Consultant at The Resilience Institute Europe (https://www.resilience-institute-europe.com), Gilles coaches leaders and their teams towards greater resilience.

In the past, Gilles has led teams within multinationals such as L'Oréal, Danone, Citibank, Savencia, Agrana-Südzucker in countries as diverse as Japan, Iran, the United Kingdom, the Arab Emirates or Morocco.

Polyglot - he speaks German and Japanese in addition to French and English - he enjoys coaching leaders and their teams in a multi-cultural environment. As a coach he aims at fostering self-awareness, adaptability and resilience.  

His belief

In addition to the usual set of management competencies leaders must develop a new set of soft skills in order to generate resilience for them and their team. Among them : self- awareness, authenticity, ability to navigate in a world of uncertainty, connect to people, create meaning.

His professional experience

Gilles has led several missions abroad within multinationals. He managed successfully a large sales force for Danone in Iran (150 people). He was CEO of the Dirafrost Group in Belgium (700 people - 4 factories) and between 2005 and 2009 he was a member of the Executive Committee of Agrana Fruit - turnover of 650m € (a subsidiary of Südzucker).

Gilles is also a "serial entrepreneur" who has created, successfully managed and then sold several companies in France and Mauritius in trade, food production and software development.

His educational background

Gilles graduated from ESCP (EAP stream) and holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a MA in International Studies - University of Pennsylvania. He was a student ​​at the Lauder Institute.

In October 2021, Gilles completed a full cycle of Master in Business Coaching at International Mozaïk in Paris.
