Damian Kimmelman is the founder and CEO of DueDil, a London-based business platform that is one of the largest sources of company information in Europe. DueDil helps its clients such as Transferwise, Paypal or Dell to curate a list of prospects, research company information and perform KYC and compliance checks. The platform combines multiple sources of company information in a visual, user-friendly tool to make it easier for teams to analyse multiple data points.
Since being founded in 2011, the company has raised $30m of funding from such VCs as Notion Capital, Passion Capital and Oak Investment Partners. Prior to launching DueDil, Damian set up two other businesses: a peer-to-peer Chinese gaming platform and a London-based digital agency whose clients included the BBC, Virgin and General Motors.
In his talk, Damian will focus on the challenges of scaling a B2B financial technology business in Europe. He will talk about DueDil’s path to profitability and the effort of internationalization across the continent.
