We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural gathering of the Wharton UK Non-Fiction Book Club—a new forum for intellectually curious alumni to engage with the ideas shaping business, leadership, technology, economics, and global affairs.

For our first discussion, we will explore Prisoners of Geography by Tim Marshall, one of Britain's leading geopolitical commentators.

At a time when geopolitical developments increasingly influence markets, supply chains, investment decisions, technological competition, and international relations, Marshall's book provides a compelling framework for understanding the enduring role of geography in shaping the fortunes of nations. From the strategic ambitions of China and the United States to the conflicts in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, the book offers timely insights into many of the defining challenges of our era.

As a British author with a gift for making complex global issues accessible, Marshall provides an ideal starting point for what we hope will become a vibrant series of discussions among Wharton alumni.

To encourage networking and conversation, £10 from each ticket will be credited towards food and/or drinks during the evening.

To maintain a high-quality and engaging discussion, participation is strictly limited to 10 attendees and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Whether you are an investor, entrepreneur, consultant, executive, policymaker, or simply interested in understanding the forces shaping our world, we hope you will join us for what promises to be a thoughtful and engaging evening.

This event marks the launch of the Wharton UK Non-Fiction Book Club, and we look forward to building a community of alumni who enjoy exploring important ideas together.

We hope to see you there.
