We have had an invitation extended to the Wharton UK alumni for a cocktail reception at the opening of the upcoming exhibition at sketch Mayfair - "From Sun to Flame", a solo exhibition by artist David Aiu Servan-Schreiber, a French painter whose work spans themes of cosmology, nature and transformation, represented by MTArt agency.
The works are part of the Planet series and are focused on earth's struggles such as deforestation and climate change. Using wood as the base for his work, the artist uses an air compressor to guide flames and an air gun to spray pigments. The installation at sketch will include two illuminated light boxes and a selection of smaller works, at a cross-roads of figuration and abstraction.
