Come and celebrate Thanksgiving with the Wharton Club of the UK, and hear Prof Howard Kunreuther discuss his new book, the Ostrich Paradox: Why We Under prepare for Disasters.

After Prof Kunreuther’s talk, join our table for a lively dinner with the Professor and other Wharton alumni.
Tickets include Prof Kunreuther’s talk and a limited number of drinks at the reception. Dinner can be paid for at the event, separately.




Howard Kunreuther is the James G. Dinan Professor of Decision Sciences and Public Policy and codirector, Wharton Risk Management and Decision Processes Center. His recent books include At War with the Weather (with Erwann Michel-Kerjan), winner of the Kulp-Wright Book Award from the American Risk and Insurance Association in 2011; Insurance and Behavioral Economics: Improving Decisions in the Most Misunderstood Industry (with Mark Pauly and Stacey McMorrow); and Leadership Dispatches: Chile’s Extraordinary Comeback from Disaster (with Michael Useem and Erwann Michel-Kerjan).
