Following the wonderful response to our inaugural Ring of Reciprocity Dinner in 2024, we are delighted to invite you to the second edition of this unique Wharton Club UK experience.
Inspired by Professor Adam Grant's concept of the Ring of Reciprocity, the evening is built around a simple but powerful idea: communities become stronger when people are willing not only to ask for help, but also to help others.
Every member of our community has something valuable to contribute—whether it is experience, expertise, perspective, introductions, encouragement or practical advice.
This is not a traditional networking dinner. It is an intentionally small, highly interactive conversation designed to bring together Wharton alumni who value generosity, curiosity and community. Each participant will have the opportunity to share a professional or personal challenge, while also offering their own knowledge, networks and experience to support others around the table.
The objective is to create an environment where meaningful relationships are strengthened, ideas are exchanged openly, and opportunities emerge naturally through trust and a genuine willingness to support one another. The most rewarding evenings are those where everyone arrives with the mindset of both giving and receiving.
Registration & Participant Selection
Participants: Limited to 14 attendees to preserve the intimacy and quality of the discussion.
As the value of the evening depends greatly on the mix of participants, registration is not on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants will be selected with the aim of creating a diverse and complementary group across industries, professions, graduation years, career stages, backgrounds and gender. Our goal is to bring together people whose varied experiences and perspectives will enrich the conversation and maximise opportunities for mutual support.
We will also endeavour to give priority to alumni who wished to attend the inaugural Ring of Reciprocity Dinner in 2024 but were unable to secure a place.
Please note that registration is an expression of interest rather than confirmation of a place. Applicants who are not selected will receive a full refund of their registration fee. Once a place has been confirmed, the registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Preparing for the Evening
One of the reasons the Ring of Reciprocity is so effective is the preparation that takes place before we meet.
In the weeks leading up to the dinner, confirmed participants will be invited to complete a short questionnaire outlining:
- The professional or personal areas where they are seeking advice, introductions or support.
- The knowledge, expertise, experience, introductions or resources they would be willing to offer others.
Participants' responses will be shared with the group in advance of the dinner, allowing everyone to reflect beforehand and arrive prepared to contribute thoughtfully. This preparation transforms the evening from an enjoyable dinner into a much richer and more impactful experience.
We will also collect dietary requirements and share all logistical information in advance.
As there is a considerable amount of coordination involved, we kindly ask all participants to respond promptly to emails and complete any requested information by the stated deadlines. Your timely responses play an important role in ensuring the evening runs smoothly and delivers the best possible experience for everyone.
Ticket Cost

- Member - £65 per person (non-refundable and non-transferable)

We are excited to bring together another outstanding group of Wharton alumni for an evening centred on generosity, thoughtful conversation and meaningful connections. Our hope is that every participant leaves having received valuable support, contributed meaningfully to someone else's journey, and strengthened the bonds that make the Wharton community so special.
