Plastics are everywhere. Plastics are beneficial to all of us. But only 14% of plastic containers are recycled. All the rest, worth circa US$100 billion per year, is lost after one short use. Around a third of all the plastic produced per year leaks to our ecosystems, and by 2050 there could be more plastic than fish in the sea.

Leading corporations, innovators and entrepreneurs are coming up with solutions to re-design the use of plastics in our economies.  To change the way we use, produce and reuse plastic will take collaboration and innovation. The financial sector can play a leading role in amplifying impact investment required to solve this problem.

Come hear Luca Zerbini, WG02, VP and GM Film & Foil and Global Flexibles Sustainability at Amcor, and other leading experts present the issue and debate Impact Investing, providing capital to maximize social, environmental and good governance ventures that can foster the transformation of linear economies into circular ones.
