Entrepreneurs are encouraged to submit ideas throughout the year and we do not charge any application fees and success fees. The format of the submission is described here: Submission Form
Each idea will be screened by the Network’s Screening Committee. A handful of ideas will be selected for presentation at one of the three Pitching Events each year. For the schedule of these events please consult the Events section. The Pitching Events are the opportunity for the chosen start-ups to present their ideas face-to-face to potential investors. Following the Pitching Events, investors will decide if and how much time and capital to invest into the businesses. The matched investors and start-ups are then expected to finalise their partnership independently; however, the Wharton Alumni Angel Network can provide limited assistance in the post-pitch deal preparation.
The deadline to be considered for a Pitching Event is typically 2 months before the event, so please plan accordingly. Ideas which are submitted past the deadline will only be considered for the following event.
