Biography:
Melanie Espeland is an Executive Voice Coach, Entrepreneur, Author, and Voice Actor. She celebrates the importance of your literal and figurative voice and executive presence in the business world.
Melanie earned a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and then launched her business career in New York’s fast-paced fashion industry working for iconic brands such as Diane von Furstenburg and Alice + Olivia. Adding to her business expertise, she earned an MBA from Columbia University and worked as a consultant with McKinsey and Company, advising diverse clients, from Fortune 500’s to startups. After McKinsey, Melanie applied the knowledge she had acquired to establish her own consulting firm, Espeland Enterprises.
In addition to her business pursuits, Melanie is a successful voice actor, represented by CESD Talent Agency. In her capacity as both a business consultant and voice actor, Melanie concluded that there was a very specific niche that she could serve: business professionals looking to improve their leadership and communication skills.
Melanie now trains senior clients from top companies such as IBM and Morgan Stanley to use their voices more effectively, optimizing an important tool that is often ignored. That training has become even more relevant as remote meetings have brought presentation and communication skills to center stage.
Espeland Enterprises has been featured in publications such as Yahoo Finance, California Herald, and NY Weekly and Melanie has spoken at Columbia Business School and Umbrex. Melanie is available for one-on-one coaching, custom team training, and speaking engagements.
